이 책의 그림을 그리고 글을 쓴 노우경은 통영 고즈넉한 동네에서 작은 공방을 꾸려 나가고 있다. 어린 시절 자연 속에서 뛰어놀던 추억을 마음 깊이 간직하며 성장했고, 번잡한 도시를 떠나 자연 가까운 곳에서 행복을 찾고 싶어 5년 전 통영 바닷마을로 왔다. 이른 아침의 새소리, 소소하고 느리게 흘러가는 풍경, 그곳을 조용히 산책하며 느낀 따뜻한 감정을 그림과 소품으로 전하고 있다.
