무더위에 지친 여름밤, <괭이부리말 아이들>의 김중미 소설가와 <말랑말랑한 힘>의 함민복 시인이 봉수골을 찾아주셨습니다. 강화도에서 자연과 함께 하며 살아가는 두 분의 이야기를 들으며 마음 한편이 따뜻해졌니다. 특히 소시민의 연대와 선의의 의미에 대한 작가님의 말씀이 인상적이어서 여러분들께도 공유드립니다.
"차별은 모르고 관심이 없으니 생기는 것입니다. 연대는 약자들이 객관적으로 내 위치를 알고 자신을 노출하는 것, 그리고 그런 약자의 노출을 지지하고 응원하는 사회가 되는 것이죠."
무더운 여름에도 강화에서 통영까지 먼 걸음 해주신 작가님들과, 북토크에 함께해 주신 분들께 감사의 마음을 전합니다.
